Worship/Shabbat

We invite you to join us for Shabbat Services, held every Friday evening except the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Stay for refreshments and socializing at our Oneg Shabbat.

Summer Services

During the summer we hold earlier weekly Shabbat services so members and friends can enjoy dinner out or gather at a member’s home. We also have sunset services and potlucks outdoors in beautiful city and county parks.

Celebrations/The High Holidays

Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur are all held in person and on Zoom to enable everyone’s fullest participation.

Other Holidays and Traditions

We observe Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Tu B’Shvat, Purim, Passover (Seder first night), Yom Kippur, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Israel Independence Day, and Shavuot.

We meet for the traditional Jewish atonement ritual, Tashlich, on nearby Lake Michigan.

Would you like to attend a Shabbat service?

We ask that you arrange your visit by calling our office to speak to our staff at least one week in advance of your visit. We will call you back to confirm your plans.

We would like to know if someone referred you.

We welcome groups of students accompanied by an adult!
