Learning

Members can find in-person and virtual learning opportunities in our Bulletin.

Education of Young People

Developing meaningful and lifelong Jewish practice and learning is very important to us.

For families with children, the congregation offers individualized instruction customized to their needs. Hebrew language instruction is included. We prepare children for B’nai Mitzvah and partner with other temple religious schools.

We are fortunate to have the Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) summer camp for our congregation’s children.

Adult Discussion / Torah Study

Sinai Temple of Michigan City approaches learning as a means of informing the way in which we celebrate Jewish traditions, understand our texts and heritage, and grow knowledge with which to bring meaning to our lives.

(L) Members meet with the rabbi for exploration and discussion.
