Tikkun Olam — repairing the world, and Tzedakah– Doing acts of kindness, pursuing social justice and advocacy, are of profound importance, central to Jewish ethics and action.
Members have donated time, talent and treasure to organizations such as the Salvation Army, Stepping Stone Women’s and Children’s Center, the Martin Luther King Annual Community Celebration, Homeless Center, Duneland Health Council, interfaith education, and other community concerns.
For many years, Sinai Temple has been a proud sponsor and volunteered for the annual event in celebration of the vision of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King. We also host ecumenical gatherings with the Muslim Community Center and other religious groups in our community.
Our congregation is an inspiring and inclusive house of community, prayer, education, dedication, volunteerism, support, love and joy.
